Kids Soccer Drills: Killer Tips For Coaches

You’ve probably heard it a hundred times that when it comes to Kids Soccer Drills , it is of paramount importance that kids have fun. Training exercises should be planned and performed in such a way that they look forward to take part in them.

Youth soccer drills are usually simple to improvise but really tough to carry them out. Following are the guiding principles that’ll help you get maximum advantage from the training sessions. It’s an excellent strategy to have the kids practice it often, on way to learning the game.

1. Include both drills and practice games in the sessions. It would be rational to ensure a fine balance of drills and games that concentrate on thinking, agility, and pace.

2. Keep an eye on the behavior and check that everyone is taking a part in it. When in the sports ground, it’s not required to have individual equipment for each drill. This results in wastage of time. Instead choose drills that can be performed with simple cones or disk cones.

3. It is important to make maximum contacts with the ball during a day or a session. Their way of playing and dealing with the ball will reflect their strong and weak points. As a result you will be able to make individual assessment.

4. Focus mainly on the methods while training in soccer drills for kids. It’s very vital for the players to practice using right method, so that they don’t get habituated to using bad ones. Moreover, only when the lectures are of short duration, the kids will find it interesting.

Usually, with kids soccer drills, what happens is that kids are full of energy but when the pre-session briefing is long, they tend to loose that momentum. As a coach, this is terrible. So instruct them briefly.

5. Select the drills that pose a certain level of difficulty for the boys. Create a feel of the real match in training sessions so that kids get to understand the real scenario. This will help them get adapted.

6. The preferred way to take soccer drills for youth is to divide the batch into different teams and have them play against each other. This develops team spirit, sense of winning, and brotherhood.

7. Keep taking notes of performances both on individual level as well as a team. Take a note of time taken to complete the drills, coordination between players, strength etc that affects the performance of the team as a whole.

8. Make positively certain that even though there is healthy rivalry, there are no unfavorable feelings. How do you accomplish this? There is no need for drills that knock out players. This leads to sadness and a feeling of rejection. In such games, everybody is a winner. This fills them with confidence.

9. It is always best to have one ball per player. This is vital due to the fact that the kids need to practice with the ball a lot.

10. Last but certainly not the least, keep the drills simple, make them enjoyable, and you would have done your duty as a coach.

The extension of the credit should inject some sales into the winter market.  Remember - October-March are the slowest sales months of the year for real estate - people like to move while school’s out and the weather’s good and this is the case for Augusta Real Estate as well.

The bottom line is that nationally, 1st Time Homebuyers accounted for only 36% of sales in 2006, see more at Augusta Listing Expert and by some accounts they now account for almost 50% of all sales.  It has provided a good “bump” for sales, but it is far from the cure.

NG Realty Group And The Big Challenges Of 2010

"What are the 3 biggest challenges we are going to face in the 2010 housing market?" A good friend and VP at SunTrust Bank, Bill Peele, asked me this very question at lunch today. My reply was as follows:

1) Unemployment over 10% and around 20% if you account for the “Under-employed” or those who have given up looking.

2) Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are still in trouble receiving over $500 billion dollars of Bail out money.

3) Payment Option ARMs are due to reset within the next 2 years with most borrowers being unable or unwilling to take on a higher payment.

Subprime mortgages almost brought down the country and financial system in 2007 and 2008 followed closely by Alt-A Mortgages (No Documentation, Stated Loans, and Little Documentation loans). This year starts the massive challenge of dealing with the Payment Option ARM loans or the so called “Pick a Payment Loan” that Wachovia was still running commercials on television in late 2008. If you are unfamiliar with this type of loan, the borrower gets a choice of whether they want to make a full payment, an Interest Only payment, or a “Minimum monthly payment”. The Minimum monthly payment is the MAJOR issue as in most cases it was 1%-2% of the loan amount which in turn leads to negative amortization which increases the mortgage balance instead of decreasing it.
